  • This morning you will reach the meeting point in Jaipur (place and time to be advised) and driven to Bundi (4 hrs drive). Bundi is of particular architectural note for its ornate forts, palaces, and stepwell reservoirs known as baoris. Overnight in Bundi.
  • Later in the day we will visit Taragarh Fort and Bundi Palace.
  • Taragarh Fort - The Taragarh Fort is the most impressive of the city's structures. It was constructed in AD 1354 on the top a steep hillside overlooking the city.
  • Bundi Palace - The Bundi Palace is situated on the hillside adjacent to the Taragarh Fort and is notable for its lavish traditional murals and frescoes. The Chitrashala (picture gallery) of the palace is open to the general public.
  • Today we will drive to Udaipur (6 hours) - en route stopping over at the lovely Chittorgarh Fort.
  • Chittorgarh Fort - The fort is located on a 180-meter high hill, covering 700 acres and surrounded by a strong crenellated wall. It is covered with extensive ruins comprising temples, towers, palaces dating from the 9th to the 17th centuries.
  • After visiting Chittorgarh, we will continue to Udaipur. Though the entire state of Rajasthan is replete with fantastic hilltop fortresses, exotic fairytale palaces and gripping legends of medieval chivalry and heroism, no city is quite as romantic as Udaipur. Overnight in Udaipur.
  • Today we will enjoy a tour of Udaipur - visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki Bari. Overnight in Udaipur.
  • City Palace - The huge city palace, towering over the lake, is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. It is a blend of stern Rajput military architecture on the outside and lavish Mughal-inspired decorative art on the inside.
  • Jagdish Temple - Situated close to the City Palace is Jagdish temple in Indo-Aryan style. It enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, the creator of the universe.
  • Sahelion ki Bari - The beautiful gardens of Sahelion-ki-Bari were laid out in the mid-18th century for a retinue of forty-eight young ladies-in waiting that were sent to Udaipur as part of a princess's dowry. The gardens have beautiful lawns, lotus pools, marble pavilions and marble elephant-shaped fountains.
  • Today we will drive to Jodhpur (5 hours) - en route stopping over at the stunning Ranakpur Temples.
  • Ranakpur Temples - These are one of the biggest and the most important Jain temples in India. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur temples are very well preserved and one of the most holy places for Jain pilgrimage.
  • After visiting Ranakpur, we will continue to Jodhpur. Founded in 1459, Jodhpur was once the capital of the Marwar State and a major trade centre in the 16th century due to its location on the ancient silk route. Today, Jodhpur has grown to become the second largest city of Rajasthan without shedding its medieval splendour. Overnight in Jodhpur.
  • Today we will enjoy a tour of Jodhpur - visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and a walking tour of old town. Overnight in Jodhpur.
  • Mehrangarh Fort - Mehrangarh fort, one of the largest forts in India, is unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. Innumerable palaces in the fort are interspersed with sprawling courtyards and intricately carved.
  • Jaswant Thada - Jaswant Thada, a creation in white marble, displays some rare portraits of Jodhpur’s rulers.
  • Walking Tour - The perfect way to feel the city is to walk around the clock tower and the nearby colourful market featuring textiles, silver and handicrafts.
