We start this trip in Jaipur with a drive to holy town of Pushkar.

Just before entering Pushkar we visit the shrine of Ajmer Sharif.

From there, we continue to Jodhpur, where we explore the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the old town.

Finally, we head for Udaipur, via the stunning temples of Ranakpur.

In Udaipur, we explore the City Palace, Sahelion ki Bari and Jagdish Temple.

This tour takes you through Rajasthan’s most famed cities, covering breathtaking sights and a unique insight into the culture and history of it’s people.

  • This morning you will reach the meeting point in Jaipur (place and time to be advised) and driven to Pushkar  (3 hours) - en route stopping over at the holy place of Ajmer Sharif.
  • Ajmer Sharif - Ajmer is one of the most sacred of all Muslim places of pilgrimage in India. The Persian Saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, settled and preached here. After his death a mausoleum was built on his grave and the mazar (mausoleum) became one of the most venerated of places on Indian Subcontinent’s Muslims.
  • After visiting Ajmer, we will continue to Pushkar. Pushkar is a lake-side town with many temples and bathing ghats and throughout the year the devotees can be seen ritual bathing. Each year Pushkar is also the venue for a massive pilgrim and cattle fair which lasts about a week. Overnight in Pushkar.
  • Later in the day we will enjoy a tour of Pushkar - visiting the Lake and the Brahma Temple.
  • Pushkar Lake -  This artificial lake has been created by building a dam and lies nestled in the folds of the Aravalli range, surrounded by a desert and hills on all sides. The lake has 52 bathing ghats and the water around each ghat is believed to possess special medicinal powers.
  • Brahma Temple - Pushkar is also the only place where there is temple for Brahma — the creator god of the Hindu Trinity. Built with marble and decorated with silver coins, this temple can be identified by its red spire and the image of a swan.

  • Today we will drive to Jodhpur  (3.5 hours).   Founded in 1459, Jodhpur was once the capital of the Marwar State and a major trade centre in the 16th century due to its location on the ancient silk route. Today, Jodhpur has grown to become the second largest city of Rajasthan without shedding its medieval splendour. Overnight in Jodhpur.
  • Afternoon would be at leisure or you may explore on your own.
  • Today we will enjoy a tour of Jodhpur - visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and a walking tour of old town. Overnight in Jodhpur.
  • Mehrangarh Fort - Mehrangarh fort, one of the largest forts in India, is unsurpassed in beauty and grandeur. Innumerable palaces in the fort are interspersed with sprawling courtyards and intricately carved.
  • Jaswant Thada - Jaswant Thada, a creation in white marble, displays some rare portraits of Jodhpur’s rulers.
  • Walking Tour - The perfect way to feel the city is to walk around the clock tower and the nearby colourful market featuring textiles, silver and handicrafts.
  • Today we will drive to Udaipur  (5 hours) - en route stopping over at the stunning Ranakpur Temples.
  • Ranakpur Temples - These are one of the biggest and the most important Jain temples in India. Built in the 15th century, Ranakpur temples are very well preserved and one of the most holy places for Jain pilgrimage.
  • After visiting Ranakpur, we will continue to Udaipur. Though the entire state of Rajasthan is replete with fantastic hilltop fortresses, exotic fairytale palaces and gripping legends of medieval chivalry and heroism, no city is quite as romantic as Udaipur. Overnight in Udaipur.
  • Today we will enjoy a tour of Udaipur - visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion ki Bari. Overnight in Udaipur.
  • City Palace - The huge city palace, towering over the lake, is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. It is a blend of stern Rajput military architecture on the outside and lavish Mughal-inspired decorative art on the inside.
  • Jagdish Temple - Situated close to the City Palace is Jagdish temple in Indo-Aryan style. It enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, the creator of the universe.
  • Sahelion ki Bari - The beautiful gardens of Sahelion-ki-Bari were laid out in the mid-18th century for a retinue of forty-eight young ladies-in waiting that were sent to Udaipur as part of a princess's dowry. The gardens have beautiful lawns, lotus pools, marble pavilions and marble elephant-shaped fountains.
  • Post breakfast you will check out of the hotel (before 11am) and  this trip comes to an end. You may proceed to your onward destination under own arrangements.
